Job Description

£17 p/h - Band 6 Equivalent/Circa £37.1K | 42 Hour Contract - Days | Large Nursing Home | Great Benefits | RGN or RMN Considered A large nursing home East of Manchester City Centre is currently looking to recruit an RGN or RMN Registered Nurse with senior or managerial experience to work as Unit Nurse Manager.The large home offers elderly frail, dementia and disability nursing care packages to older adults and provides an excellent environment for staff and residents alike.Details of this RGN/RMN Unit Nurse Manager vacancy and what our client is offering:

  • A permanent contract of 42 hours per week, working flexible day shifts
  • Rates of pay of £17 per hour, which is equivalent to an NHS Band 6 salary and an annual salary of £37,128

    • As RGN/RMN Unit Nurse Manager, you will take responsibility for the clinical services and staff leadership of a small unit within the home, and will coordinate, manage and monitor care planning and delivery.Applicants for this RGN/RMN Unit Nurse Manager post should meet the following person specification:
  • Level 1 NMC registered Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN
  • Experienced in an elderly care setting, and confident in all aspects of managing care, leading a team and maintaining good records
  • Passionate about delivering a high-quality service that promotes the independence, choice and dignity of service users
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an approachable and friendly nature
  • Ideally have completed a recognised mentorship qualification, and committed to developing the skills and knowledge of those around you
