My client is a well-established global insurer with an excellent reputation in the commercial insurance sector. In this regional operation they focus on a range of products and provide a committed and reliable service to broking partners throughout the wholeof the UK.In this appointment you will take responsibility for leading a small team in addition to taking a hands-on approach to ensuring workload is effectively managed and completed. Activity is focused on supporting experienced, specialist underwriting teams indaily underwriting tasks including accurate and appropriate data capture on company underwriting systems, document production and maintenance, renewal and MTA preparation and contribution to process reviews. You will also be required to liaise with a variedpanel brokers, delivering a high standard of customer service.Applicants will ideally have exposure to commercial insurance and previous experience supervising less experienced colleagues would be advantageous however is not essential. It is crucial however that you are a team player, organised and possess good communicationskills as well a flexible approach.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work within a highly skilled, professional underwriting environment, gaining valuable exposure to the commercial insurance arena and broking market.
