Job Description

UK Sales Manager, Sterilization Location: Remote / UK wide Type: Permanent Salary: Very competitive Additional: £8,000 Car Allowance Benefits include:, onsite gym & canteen, private healthcare insurance, dental plan, discounted high street shop vouchers, free parking, bonus schemeHours of work: Monday - Thurs 8-16.30, early finish on a Friday (13.00)Flexible working, can start the day at 7am and finish at 3.30pm, or 9am and finish at 5.30pmRussell Taylor Group is working exclusively with a global medical devices company (their UK site is based in N Yorkshire); through growth they are looking to appoint a Sales Manager who will be responsible for acquiring incremental revenue beyond base growthfor their sterilization (gamma radiation) service unit. The Role: • Reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing• Identify, qualify, and sell our services to companies having existing or future sterilization requirements based on available capacity, present or future• Sell entire value proposition, sterilization services integrated with service offering of microbiology laboratory and sterility suite, to support customers sterile lab claims• This position is the primary customer contact for all aspects of the customer relationship including but not limited to: contracts, pricing, margin improvement, laboratory services, consulting services, quality issues, operational challenges, validations,QBRs and capacity planning• Collect, analyze and activate all leads, create a funnel and a database• Improve our pricing margins with the existing business• Work with operations to ensure services are delivered as contracted• Re-contract the base business as required• Seek and obtain new sales with new customers primarily, or within the base business• Develop extensive relationships at multiple levels and functions with the accounts assigned• Assume the leadership role as the central point of contact for each customer and all services• Generate both short- and long-term strategies for each customer to expand our business and influence• Work in partnership with Operations to provide a professional QBR (Quarterly Business Review) with top customers to review performance, customer performance, and address areas for improvement as needed• Provide forecasts by customer for revenue and capacity support• Report issues and concerns that impact our ability to service our customers• Analyze pricing models and work with VP of Sales and Marketing and FinanceThe Person:• Significant sales experience within the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical sector • The ideal Candidate will have a good understanding of sterilization services and/or gamma radiation. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Intermediate Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Knowledgeable and familiar with CRM software and tools • Excellent project management skillsImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
