Job Description

Treasury Cashier£23,000 - £26,000Fixed-TERM, Full-time Manchester (hybrid-working)Treasury Cashier required to join an NHS organisation based in Manchester. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Treasury Cashier to join their dynamic and growing team on a full-time, fixed term basis.As the Treasury Cashier you will provide cash management and treasury support to the business alongside other duties below:Key responsibilities of the Treasury Cashier

  • Accurate and timely allocation of customer cash
  • Support the optimisation of cash throughout the group
  • Support the business by providing accurate MI
  • Consulting with credit controllers daily to cover dedicated accounts
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and/or system entries are completed accurately, and information is well documented
  • Maintain an accurate record of all activity and ensure that all documents are properly filed electronically and easily retrievable for reference
  • Assist with resolving unallocated cash queries internally
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting as required, including MI analysis and reporting
  • Consult with Accounts Payable, Credit Control, and banks to ensure timely resolution of treasury related queries
Required skills and experience of the Treasury Cashier
  • Experience of working in a similar role in high volume environment
  • Ability to confidently deal with people across all levels of the business
  • Previous NHS experience (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, NAV, Oracle and Horizon
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates initiative whilst able to take direction
