Job Title: Transport PlannerLocation: Wythenshawe, ManchesterJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: Circa £32,000 per annumWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Transport Planner to join our clients team. As a Transport Planner, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient transportation strategies to enhance our overall supply chain operations.Main duties as the Transport Planner include:* Management and planning of drivers* Controlling and planning an agreed amount of resource, ensuring all requirements are adhered to* Ensure the daily plan is completed whilst managing resources effectively* Maximising utilisation of vehicles, drivers and trailers whilst minimising cost* Brief and de brief drivers daily* Monitoring drivers whilst out on delivery* Dealing with issues raised during the day* Ensuring all drivers have correct paperwork and PPEThe ideal candidate will have:* 2 years experience within transport planning* Good geographical knowledge* Strong personalityIf you are a hard working and proven Transport Planner, then this is the role or you!
