Job Description

Our esteemed client, a leading intellectual property (IP) firm based in Manchester, is seeking a skilled Trade Mark Attorney to join the dynamic team. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, our client is dedicated to providing top-tier legal servicesin trademark matters.Our client is looking for a talented Trade Mark Attorney to join the Manchester office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing strategic advice and support on trademark issues. This is a hybrid role,offering flexibility with remote work arrangements, with the expectation of being in-office one day a week.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing trademark portfolios and advising clients on trademark registration, enforcement, and protection strategies
  • Conducting trademark searches and clearance reviews to assess availability and potential conflicts
  • Drafting and filing trademark applications with relevant authorities
  • Handling opposition and cancellation proceedings before trademark offices
  • Providing counsel on trademark infringement matters and enforcement strategies
  • Assisting with trademark licensing and commercialization efforts
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 1-4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a Trade Mark Attorney
  • Strong understanding of UK and European trademark laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and achieving client satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
