Town PlannerManchester£27,000 - £32,000paPenguin Recruitment is delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious Town Planner to join a leading Real Estate Services Firm!My client is an award-winning firm who have been established and in operation for over 100 years. Although they have a world-wide team, my clientscompany culture promotes a close-knit family environment and endorses diversity and inclusiveness.My clients Land, Development and Planning team has an immediate need to recruit an enthusiastic planning consultant with excellent research and analytical skills in undertaking property market research and analysis of market evidence.My client specialises in advising clients in both the private and public sector on the delivery of complex regeneration and development projects. The teams focus is on bringing forward development schemes from the conception and feasibility stage to theprocurement and delivery of development on site across all property sectors.The purpose of the role will be to provide professional advice on a variety of client briefs, working under the direction of Associates and Partners in the team. Instructions will cover a range of areas including market and socio-economic analysis, strategicplanning and development advice.Required Skills and Experience:

  • Professionally qualified MRTPI preferred but not essential for the right candidate if some experience in property. Priority is for a desire to work in the property and planning industry.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Rounded knowledge of property in a development context.
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, able to present ideas and recommendations to clients clearly and confidently.
  • A hard working, conscientious, organised team player.
