Job Description

CNC Tool Maker & Programmer - Manchester

You will be working for a global business who are world leader in their field, manufacturing small components operating a 24/7 state-of-the-art facility (call JMT to discuss in more detail).The Toolmaker role will provide support in the manufacture of new high cavitation injection moulding tools. These are required not just for the Manchester site but other Group sister companies around the globe. The role will ideally suit someone with a biastowards EDM machining, although applications are invited from those who have toolmaking experience and understand the EDM process.Role Description
  • Experience using software to create models for the EDM process
  • Inspecting work using CMM and 3D Profiling Machines
  • Creating Inspection reports for Quality
  • Involvement in continuous improvement and adherance to H&S activity
  • Collaborating with key internal stakeholders Skills and Qualifications
  • A Time served Toolmaker, with minimum of 5 years Toolmaking experience
  • Able to operate within a busy production environment, plastic injection moulding Experience optimising EDM Machine Processes and using EDM Cells
