Test Analyst Rate - £400 (Must Use an Umbrella Company)Duration - 3 months initiallyLocation - ManchesterIR35 - InsideWe are looking for an experienced Test Analyst who can successfully design and develop effective test plans and execute these plans through to completion. You will work closely with Data Analytics team, will be able to test the integrity of complex databases and the output of data for surfacing in business integral data reports. The job will require you to quickly gain familiarity with a wide array of data sources within our client and hit the ground running, developing an effective testing service to meet the needs of the project. You will be required to report testing status to project management, test management and other stakeholders and work closely with the development team. As the sole tester on the project, a degree of self-starting will be required.Requirements: *Solid experience in testing data integrity from an Oracle and/or SQL source*Strong hands on experience in software testing and QA activity including the creation and maintenance of efficient test approaches, templates and scripts, using both manual and automation techniques.*Working within Agile, using Jira, DevOps or similar.*Knowledge and experience of using test management and bug tracking tools to record, track, and trace bugs raised during the testing cycle *Working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment in an Agile environment.*Produce high-quality documentation including test plans and test cases and communicate these to business users and stakeholders. *Identification, documentation and then tracking of defects through to a resolution.
