Job Description

Are you a results-driven, self-motivated sales professional with experience in the hose industry Do you thrive on building and nurturing relationships with distributors and end-users to drive business growthCitrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Territory Sales Manager for a leading manufacturer of hosing solutions in the UK.With the head office in Birmingham, you will be joining a small but growing sales team and managing your territory which will be the north of the country, from Stoke on Trent up to Scotland.You will be responsible for driving business growth by organising and attending meetings, managing your own diary and working with distributors and end users.The suitable candidate for this position will have a background in selling hosing solutions to a variety of industries.Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:* Territory Management: Covering a territory from Stoke-on-Trent to Aberdeen, you will strategically manage and develop your sales territory, ensuring consistent growth.* Distributor Relationships: Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, ensuring they are well-informed about products and services.* Collaborating with end-users, including prestigious companies like JCB, Princess Yachts, and the MOD - naval base, to specify specific products for their applications.* Developing and executing effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.* Traveling to meet customers approximately 4 days a week, understanding their needs, and providing solutions.* Home/Office Administration: Dedicate one day per week for administrative tasks, either from a home office or head office in Birmingham, ensuring timely reporting and record-keeping.Skills & experience required.* A track record of success in B2B sales, including selling to distributors and engaging with end-users.* Strong territory management skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage your schedule effectively.* Hose Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the hose industry, preferably with a manufacturer of hose products.* Excellent Communication: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.* Self-Motivation: A self-starter who can work independently and is motivated by achieving and surpassing sales targets.* Driving License: A valid driving license as extensive travel within the territory is required.Benefits package* Salary of up to £50,000* Bonus paid annually* 25 days annual leave* Company car/ phone / laptop etc.If you are a dedicated, results-oriented Territory Sales Manager with experience in the hose industry, and youre ready to take on a new challenge with a dynamic company, we want to hear from you!Citrus Recruit acts as an employment business when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
