This company experienced substantial growth during COVID by supporting the UK frontlines by keepingthem safe with their highly effective cleaning solutions.After 70 successful years of steady growth, the business wants to expand on helping to support a cleaner, safer world. They are aiming to create a global brand and network, with a view of reaching £40m turnover in the next 10 years.This successful candidate will become a crucial contributor to the business growth strategy, which will offer you the significant potential to further develop on your career progression as the company continues to grow.Your Role - Territory Sales Manager
  • 30% focused on business development, recognizing new business opportunities, and developing relationships with prospective customers with a view of bringing them onboard
  • 70% focus on account management, developing and maintaining relationships with distributors, keeping regular contact and identifying upselling/cross-selling opportunities
  • Developing & managing customer relationships who are predominantly distributors in the Northern Territory of the UK
  • Conduct product/COSHH training to distribution teams
  • 3/4 days per week on the road meeting customers and 1/2 days working from home
  • Work with your sales manager & account management team to maximize both growth and profitability of the Northern region
  • Maintaining the CRM system (NetSuite)
  • Travel to Head Office in Banbury once per month for sales meetings
  • You will be supported to succeed by one of the best Sales Directors within the hygiene industry in the UK, as well as your direct line manager, an internal account manager, and a business development team
Your Background - Territory Sales Manager
  • At least 2 years of previous sales experience is essential
  • Previous experience in selling cleaning & hygiene products is essential
  • Previous experience in researching, identifying, and developing new customers, new routes to market, and alternative sectors
  • A proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota
  • Must be based in the North of the UK
  • Previous experience of using a CRM system
