Job Description

Technical Sales Manager - Ground EngineeringJob Title: Technical Advisor - Ground EngineeringIndustry Sector: Civil Engineering, Structural Waterproofing, Below Ground Waterproofing, Gas Protection, Remedial Services, Specialist Chemicals, Damp Waterproofing, Preservation Services, Structural Repair, Damp Proof Contractors, Structural Waterproofing Contractors, Architects, Structural Engineers, Formwork, FalseworkArea to be covered: Leicester to LancasterRemuneration: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) + circa 15% bonusBenefits: Company car & benefits packages The role of the Technical Advisor - Ground Engineering will involve:

  • Field sales position, selling a high quality range of manufactured below ground engineering systems, formwork, resin injections, structural fill solutions, damp waterproofing products, gas protection systems and temporary access
  • 60% and the majority of you time will be spent generating specification sales via civil engineers, structural engineers and architects
  • With the remaining 40% selling direct and stimulating demand with specialist waterproofing contractors, civil contractors, groundwork contractors and main contractors
  • Taking over a patch currently turning over £1m looking to grow year on year
  • 50% of your time will be generating new business relationships via specification routes to market or projects and the remaining 50% will be managing existing accounts.
  • Working closely with the NSM and internal support team
    • The ideal applicant will be a Technical Advisor - Ground Engineering with:
  • Must have field sales experience of selling below ground engineering systems or technical related products such as below ground engineering systems, formwork, resin injections, structural fill solutions, damp waterproofing products, gas protection systems and temporary access
  • Must have experience selling to both civil engineers, structural engineers and architects, specialist waterproofing contractors, civil contractors, groundwork contractors and main contractors
  • Ideally have CSSW qualification
  • Must be able to understand technical related drawings, u-value and structurally load calculations
  • Track record of stability within your career and looking for stability and longevity
  • Organised, hungry, hardworking and not a 9-5 field sales representative
