Job Description

Technical Project Manager - Infrastructure / Networking (Remote working with quarterley meetings in Leeds) We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a dynamic team, managing and coordinating project activities from initiation through to implementation. In addition, you will participate in improving the IT processes and workflowsProven experience working as a business analyst or as a project manager focusing on infrastructure / networking projects would be highly beneficial. Youll also be an analytical thinker, a problem solver, able to evaluate project outcomes, maintain project documentation and provide status reports. The ability to multi task and direct complex and large project is also required.Youll be communicating to various stakeholders so excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to talk to both technical and non-technical audiences.Although this is not a technically hands-on role project management role, you will ideally have knowledge and understanding of datacentre upgrade / migrations and general networking and infrastructure technologies. Some of the technologies it would be beneficial for you to have an understanding of (though this is not all essential):

  • Networking, in particular Juniper and/or Cisco
  • Enterprise Datacentre Migration / Upgrades
  • Windows and Linux Server Environments
  • Citrix, VMware or Hyper-V
  • AWS or Azure
  • DevOps Technologies / Containerisation, e.g. Kubernetes
  • Network Security Auditing / Remediation
  • PMP and / or Prince 2 methodologies
  • Knowledge of Agile working practises
