Job Description

  • TechnicalProject Manager (Contract)
  • £520per day (Outside IR35)
  • Remote Working with sometravel to Manchester required
Our clientis on the lookout for a contract Project Manager who will be responsible for managing a large migration project from Livelink to SharePoint Online. Previous experience of this or equivalent will be essential.Main Responsibilities:
  • Management of Information System projects consisting of numerous technical and business streams
  • Develop and manage project documentation including project initiation documentation, plans, risks and issues logs.
  • Organise project board meetings and present progress updates to project board members.
  • Perform business analysis working with senior managers to gather high-level requirements including conducting workshops.
  • Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and detailed test plans
  • Apply the relevant management systems, procedures and policies relating to risk management, health and safety, information security and business continuity
Skills and Experience beneficial for the role:
  • Demonstrable experience of migrating an EDRMS (Electronic Document & Records Management) to SharePoint.Migration from a Livelink EDRMS system, would be preferrable but not essential
  • Strong technical background and knowledge
  • Ability to understand a project, map it to technologies and make recommendations
  • Experience of managing projects using a structured methodology (ideally Prince2)
  • Strong experience and understanding of Agile software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of change management from both a technical and project perspective
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deal with conflicting requirements
