Job Description

Are you a skilled Technical Officer looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading care home provider in the UK We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Technical Officer, responsible for providing technical andcommercial support to our development programme.Client DetailsI am working with a leading provider of care homes dedicated to providing high-quality living environments for our residents.   • Act as the technical lead on numerous projects to support the delivery of the development programme, including Regeneration and Infill projects and New Business led opportunities.
  • Provide technical and commercial support to the team, including project management, budgeting, and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project planning and decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or challenges, and implement corrective actions as needed to mitigate risks and ensure successful outcomes.
Profile
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • Proven experience in a technical role within the construction or development industry, preferably in the care home sector.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices related to construction and development projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
