You will benefit from our flexible working hours and fantastic location based in the heart of the northern quarter, Manchester and will receive fantastic employee discount on our products, a discounted share purchase scheme and access to our Employee Assistance Programme and much more!As a Technical Lead (React) at N Brown, your responsibilities will include:- Leading squad code development in an Agile delivery structure, influencing wider development standards.- Workingcloselywithall squad membersincludingProduct Owner,Scrum Master, developers and testersto ensure best practice development.- LeadingAgileceremonies–two-week sprintplanning,show and tells, retrospectives anddelivery, contributing to optimizing the squad’s way of working. - Ownership of code quality and tech debtincluding ensuring all code written is of high quality, performant, maintainable and all processes are automated and repeatable.- Continuous Integrationusing Jenkins and/or Gitlab including the Release Pipeline and quality process.- Working with the wider Engineering management team to transform squadsinto aDevOpsmodel. - Proactivelyresolving technical issues within the squad and other squadswhilst looking for continuous improvement opportunities from an operational process perspective. - Liaisingwith guild ofothersquad Tech Leadsto ensure a standardised vision and approach to engineering across all squads within BIT.- Line managing squad developers, coachingin best practices.At N Brown, we are looking for a Technical Lead (React) who has the following skills and experiences:- Experience in developing high quality, scalable and efficientwebapps at an enterprise scale, with a solid understanding of the full software development cycle. - Full stack webdevelopment includingJavaScript/TypeScript,React,Node, Next/Expressapplyingcommon design principlesand development techniques. - Experience ofcloud-based SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)is beneficialincludingJava 11, python3,Spring Boot/vert.x,containerisation and a code-first DevOps approach. - The ability to maintain the highest standard of code quality, unit tests, code coverage – SonarQube or similar.- Experience in working in an Agile environmentwithcontinuous delivery along with an understanding of how the squad-model operates. - Experience working in or building a scalablecloud-basedDevOpsenvironment with the ability toproactively assistteamwith this transformation and change.To apply for this role as Technical Lead (React) at N Brown, please click apply online and complete the full application process.
