We work closely with schools to deliver exceptional teaching and learning experiences, ensuringthat every child has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. As a Teaching Assistant with Tradewind Recruitment, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of schools within the Manchester LEA. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assisting students with their learning and development, both individually and in small groups.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs and disorders (SEND) or additional learning needs.
  • Helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school settings.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
