Job Description

Are you an experienced SEND TA looking for your next Teaching Assistant role Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a passionate and empathetic TA to work with a child in Early Years in one of our lovely schools in Denton.Position: Full-time, starting as soon as possible, and continuing for the rest of the academic year.Hours: 8:30AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday.You would be working on a 1:1 basis with a student in Early Years with additional needs. The child has social and communicational needs, and needs someone able to take a firm approach and to form quick relationships. You would be working through the lunchbreak and second-part of the day to ensure the students are on track with their development.Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £70 - 85 per day.Your duties might include:

  • Supporting and managing a pupil with autistic traits, mainly on a 1:1 basis
  • Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
  • Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

  • A caring and nurturing attitude
  • Have a thorough understanding of supporting pupils with SEND
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
