Job Description

Talent Acquisition - social care37.5 hours per weekTemporary 6 months with the option to review and extend to 12 monthsOffice based, home working & community (Hybrid)Job purpose/Key ResponsibilitiesYour role is to work with operational and central support teams to provide a proactive, efficient attraction and recruitment service to fill Children and Families vacancies across all their settings and all vacancies relating to new services in Childrenand Families and Personalisation and Community with agreed priority areasKey responsibilities:* Agree with Heads of Service for Children and Families and Personalisation and Community the requirements for vacancies for their establishment both for existing and future services. * Ensure all new service details have been communicated and loaded into ITrent and communicate the requisition requirements to the HR team to raise the vacancies on the ATS system. * Develop a programme of attraction, using already utilised job boards, social media strategies, recruitment agencies, links with local authorities, local job centres linking in with current HR tools and practice. Proactively contact job seekers to discussopportunities and develop a pipeline of prospective candidates.* Use the local attraction toolkit to plan local recruitment campaigns around new services and or areas with multiple vacancies. Creating routes to market with proactive strategies * Work in partnership to plan joint recruitment opportunities with Local Authority Commissioners of services * Plan local recruitment/assessment events alongside HR colleagues and communications team for new services and areas with multiple vacancies. * Develop relationships with agency contacts and other potential future agencies and link with the HR team to ensure this adheres to Trust agency requirements and meets the needs to fill the vacancies * Scope the market for new sources of attraction and link up with the HR team to ensure effective use of these methods * Link with HR team for work on longer term attraction and talent acquisition linked to career pathways and social care college student recruitment * Pre screen agreed candidates and support interview processes for hiring managers, keeping candidates engaged throughout * Ensure that all candidates are progressed successfully through the ATS * Support the feedback of offers to successful candidates and work with the HR onboarding team to support the engagement of these candidates though out their onboarding time, including day 1 * Agree key performance indicators and report on these on a monthly basis to include a summary of recruitment methods used and most effective, recruitment costs per hire, time to offer, number of new employees and retention of these * Support service visits to discuss refer a friend and engage the current workforce to support recruitment with over 60% signed up to app and regular usage at 50%. Contact potential referred candidates within 12 hours and ensure that HR have relevant informationto reward referrers. * Work within recruitment processes to ensure safer recruitment and equity, diversity and inclusion at all times * Support a review of the selection tools for these roles to ensure we are recruiting to the Trust values and behaviours * Ensure best practice is shared at all times * Seek candidate feedback and share learnings and use to improve processes and practiceWhat you will require to be successful:* Positive - We take pride in celebrating the difference we make* Professional - We act in a fair and respectable way that recognises our collective expertise* Passionate - We encourage creative ideas and inspire one another* Supportive - We are considerate and caring towards one another.* Be passionate about recruitment and talent acquisition* Have proven experience within recruitment* Experience in undertaking targeted recruitment, sourcing and employmentcampaigns* Understanding of appropriate selection methods and techniques, ideally experiencein recruiting for social care including value based/safer recruitment processes.* Be knowledgeable about modern attraction and have ideas to bring to the role.* Be an excellent communicator.* Well-organized.* Be a team player and manage relationships well internally and externally.* Be experienced in both support and challenge with leaders.* Keep up to date with Resourcing best practice and employment law .* Maintain confidentiality.* Be able to work from central office and locations around Cheadle/Manchester.* Be able to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the role and candidateavailability.
