Job Description

Talend Data EngineerFinancial ServicesRemote / Manchester7 months£500 per daySkilled Data Engineer with solid Talend experience required to support a financial services online provider.Skills Required:

  1. Looking for a candidate with Strong skills building Data Integration and pipelines (ETL) using Talend DI.
  2. Strong SQL and familiarity with data modelling.
  3. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Jobscheduler, Luigi, Airflow, etc
  4. Experience with code versioning systems (e.g. git) and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Google Cloud Build
  5. Experience of troubleshooting & performance tuning techniques to cope with the challenges presented by large data volumes
  6. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure
  7. Experience of working with data and product teams, identifying and communicating solutions in a clear, precise, and actionable manner
  8. A self-starter mentality and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
