We partnerwith Cornerstone and use their SaaS based solution Talentlink to underpin the delivery of our RPO and MSP solutionsThe roleAs a result of our growing Client base, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Support and Reporting AdvisorThis role will be a key part of our Business Support Services (BSS) function, enabling the continued growth of the services provided by Avencia Consulting across our client portfolioBased in Manchester and reporting into the Senior Business Process Analyst, your role will be to support the BSS Team with the operational support provided to our internal Client Services, Resourcing Delivery, Onboarding & Payroll TeamsYoull also help the BSS team provide a wide range of services to our external clients; for example new technology system design and implementation, continuous ongoing enhancement projects, training and enablement, and production of cyclical and adhoc reportsand dashboardsKey accountabilitiesSystems Administration

  • Support a wide range of day to day "live" system maintenance tasks e.g. new user creation, termination of leavers, password management, creating and editing templates and forms, workflow configuration, timesheet support, and management of updates and changerequests.
  • Youll also collaborate with wider teams whilst carrying out audits, quality testing, and continuous improvement projects across our technology applications
Technology prototypes & testing
  • Contributing to the preparation of technology demonstrations and presentations of proof of concept projects.
  • This support element will also include the preparation of supporting PowerPoint slides and relevant technical documentation.
Reporting
  • Supporting our MI Analyst with the production of regular scheduled MI Packs and dashboards, along with adhoc data requests. This reporting element will also cover our invoice exporting and checking processes where your ability to work accurately to tightdeadlines is critical.
  • Youll work alongside our MI Analyst extracting, validating and cleansing data from multiple sources to be analysed and presented to our clients in visual dashboards alongside story-telling commentary
Avencia Support Ticket management
  • Triage new support tickets and respond to sender within agreed SLA; you will act as first point of contact for internal and external support tickets and change requests. Opportunities are available for "on call" shift cover
Skills & experience
  • An understanding of systems administration / configuration / testing of SaaS / cloud software systems is preferred, particularly those where clients and customers interact
  • Evidence of your customer service skills will be explored; how to you react to challenging situations
  • Intermediate / advanced Excel skills will be required for the reporting element; youll need to be able to manipulate and analyse data at speed; skills required will include filters, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and data visualisation.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word, plus experience with Trello, Jira and Visio would also be beneficial
  • Experience gained in a finance related role would also be of interest
  • A customer service outlook with the ability to collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders in a customer facing role
  • Youll have a proactive mindset with the ability to identify a risk before it becomes a bigger issue
  • Youll also have a reactive mindset with the instinct to stop and prioritise a task requiring urgent attention
  • Open to training and development, and adopting new tools and technology applications
  • Organisation and time management skills with great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
