Job Description

Undertake roles and responsibility of a Building Surveyor whilst preparing and delivering projects.Client DetailsI am working on behalf of a housing association based in Greater Manchester who is currently going through expansion and change as they look to strengthen their surveying team.Description

  • To lead and project manage works as directed and undertaking all functions associated with the role to ensure safe delivery of works ensuring customers and general public are safe from risk of injury.
  • Report on individual project performance, including financial monitoring, ensuring that the overall objectives are achieved in line with the society and directorates strategic aims and objectives.
  • Day to day supervision of contractor and scheme performance.
Profile
  • Experience of: Delivering investment (decent homes, Capex) projects, budget monitoring, procurement, managing contractors.
  • Experience of making positive service improvements.
  • Knowledge and understanding of construction sector, various forms of JCT contracts, CDM Regs 2015, Asbestos, Housing regulator.
  • Positively embraces change, and is adaptable to the ever changing social housing sector.
  • Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to produce documents to a professional and accurate standard
  • Effective mediation and negotiation skills to deliver positive outcomes
