Job Description

The Talent Crowd are recruiting for support workers on a permanent basis for a client located in Manchester.**PLEASE NOTE THIS CLIENT IS UNABLE TO OFFER SUPPORT WITH SPONSORSHIP**This service is recruiting for a support worker to work within a service proving support to adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental health conditions with additional needs that are from a forensic background. You will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to be open minded, alongside compassion, great values with the ability to provide dignity with the ability to work well under pressure.Please note you will be supporting on a 1 to 1 basis. At this service you will be promoting independence, proving support with daily living tasks and provide overall support with rehabilitation. Amongst the day to day support you will have ample opportunity to spend lots of time enjoying activities such as attendingfootball games, going to the cinema, bike riding, and any other hobby you may have that can be service user friendly.Shift patterns required (However the service can be flexible)09:00-16:00/17:0016:00/17:00- 23:00Sleep shifts 23:00-09:00 (There is an option to pick up additional shifts and sleep) The organisation has a fantastic career progression route with lots of additional benefits such as

Requirements
  • You must have at least six months UK experience within healthcare
  • You must be able to work the required hours of 37 hours per week.
  • You must be able to commit to working two sleep shifts per week.
  • To have experience of supporting adults / children with Learning disabilities
  • To have experience of working within a forensic service (Desirable not essential)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is essential.
  • To have the ability to work as a team member and individually.
