Job Description

My client is a large global food manufacturer who develop, produce and market their products with full ownership of the end to end Supply Chain. My client is worldwide and is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to come and join their team based in Manchester to assist in moving their Supply Chain team forward as the company strives towards their growth and sustainability goals.What will you be doingYou will be responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Managers with the day to day operations. Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Processing orders on SAP
  • Updating PO details onto excel
  • Delivery and receipt confirmation with 3PLs
  • Checking paperwork and ensuring any discrepancies are acted on
  • Completing import paperwork for inbound deliveries
  • PO placement for intercompany stock from international suppliers
    • Who would this role suitThis role would suit someone who has previous experience working in a fast paced Supply Chain role, someone who thrives in Supply Chain and is looking for their next challenge. In addition to having:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of importation procedures and paperwork desirable but full training will be given
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong work ethic and a team player
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential
