Job Description

Supply Chain Administrator Contract: PermSalary: up to £22kLocation: Stretford, Old Trafford (Hybrid, flexible)Hours: Full time (Mon-Fri)Role purpose:As Supply Chain Co-ordinatoryoull provide administrative support to the supply chain team in the following areas

  • On-boarding of new suppliers from identification to implementation
  • Ensuring suppliers have relevant insurances, policies and procedures in place
  • Liaising with Accounts Payable team for supplier payment escalations and queries
  • Assisting with the preparation and completion of supplier audits
  • Carry out general duties as directed by the Supply Chain Managers/Head of Supply Chain
  • Managing central mailbox and delegating queries to appropriate colleagues
  • Communicating key messages in a professional manner to the supply chain and monitoring responses
Desired skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and organisation
  • Excellent communication skills - able to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of working co-operatively as a team and independently
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Conscientious, self-motivated & proactive
  • Good numerical skills - including accuracy
Essential skills:
  • Proven experience of successfully working in a team with the ability to work in conjunction with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Intermediate Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and not afraid of change
