Job Description

Becoming a Supplier Relationship Manager with Smart DCC: Fantastic opportunity to secure a short-term contract as a Supplier Relationship Manager based in London but initially working remotely. The Supplier Relationship Manager is responsible for ensuring that the relationships with suppliers are managed effectively in support of the supply chain strategy.What youll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain a close, holistic management of relationships with up to 3 Tier 1 suppliers
  • Research, develop and disseminate deep market and supplier information & insight
  • Contribute to the creation of a supplier and market focused network within DCC to ensure a joined-up, corporate approach to Supplier Management
  • Closely stakeholder manage and act as first point of contact and escalation point for DCC on supplier performance issues and conflict resolution
  • Lead Supplier focused governance e.g. Deep Dives, Quarterly Executive Reviews
  • Produce Monthly Supplier Performance Dashboards

  • Strong knowledge and experience of working in complex Commercial environments as a Supplier Relationship Manager
  • Experience managing medium-sized, long term contractual relationships
  • Strong internal & external stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent commercial knowledge
  • Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience of working in a multi project, multi-workstream matrix environment
