Job Description

My client is one of Manchester’s largest and most respected PR and Digital agencies. They are looking for a Strategic Social Media Senior Account Manager - Account Director to join their earned media teams.Working across a range of B2B and Consumer big brand retail, food and drink, hospitality, construction, FMCG and manufacturing clients.The ideal candidate should haveThe role

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience developing and implementing results-driven earned (social media/PR) strategy and campaigns
  • A minimum of 3 years’ agency experience
  • Experience working with B2B and B2C brands to shape integrated paid and editorial social media strategies
  • Possess well developed analytical ability to extract insight from data and plan next strategy across multiple social channels
  • Have a strong knowledge of how to market and communicate to specific audiences across all mainstream social media channels
Experience with using tools to:
  • Gather insights that will form a strategy
- Creating and overseeing activation plans- Report on meaningful brand metrics and insights for example, using social listening to track brand health, understand consumer sentiment, improve customer experience and drive strategic decisionsA good understanding of specific social channel metrics:
  • Robust understanding of social media channels and how they work including: algorithms, types of spend, audience behaviours and integration opportunities
  • Facebook blueprint & GA certification a plus but not mandatory based on experience
  • Be comfortable and confident in making strategic recommendations for campaign activity including paid spend
  • Experience in integrating content into multiple social distribution channels
  • Experience developing and executing influencer strategies on behalf of brands
  • Strong attention to detail, proofreading, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Experience in working cross-functionally with internal and external teams and stakeholders
