Job Description

The role of the Stakeholder Engagement Manager is to support the delivery of a programme of activity, including communications and events, to members and external stakeholders across the Northwest region (including Northern Ireland), to support stakeholdersdeliver the organisations strategy.Client DetailsA large not for profit membership bodyDescriptionThe responsibilities of the Stakeholder Engagement Manager include but not limited to:

  • To raise the standing of stakeholders and the organisation working with key regional stakeholders, under the direction of the Regional Director.
  • To work with the Regional Director to ensure that the strategy is delivered across the wider region, using both local active members and working collaboratively with other departments as appropriate.
  • To act as a contact point and conduit for central events and activities and cascade messaging on central initiatives to the regional team.
  • To support and provide effective communications between members and the organisation, through the regional team; highlighting issues and disseminating to other departments as appropriate
ProfileThe successful Stakeholder Engagement Manager will have:
  • Demonstrable experience in communications, marketing and events, with strong communication (written, digital, verbal, creative), relationship management and budget management skills
  • Experience of developing and sustaining excellent relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience of raising sponsorship and working with sponsors/partners during event preparation
  • A good standard of education, with evidence of continuing learning and development preferable
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and engagement skills
  • Current drivers licence and access to a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel around the wider region, managing breakfast/evening events, where required
  • Self-motivated with ability to work under own initiative
