Are you a registered nurse looking for a new challenge If so, this is an ideal opportunity for you to join our dialysis team at Tameside Renal Satellite Dialysis Unit within Specialist Medicine at Manchester Royal Infirmary.This is an exciting time for Renal services at MFT. Our vision is to create a range of high quality renal dialysis care that makes use of the latest technology and based in modern community settings wherever possible. Over the past 12 months work has taken place to transform renal dialysis services across Manchester, Tameside and Glossop, Stockport, South Trafford and East Cheshire.All units will be equipped with the latest dialysis machines with enhanced safety features, along with new IT systems to deliver greater capacity, extra dialysis stations, high water quality, electronic dialysis records, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients and staff. The central dialysis hub at Manchester Royal Infirmary will continue to support the dialysis needs of those patients who may require more intensive dialysis or clinical management. The unit is open 6 days a week - closing on Sundays and closing overnight.We aim to support dialysis patients in their choice of flexibility and independence, which will result in better health, fewer medications and less lifestyle restriction imposed by conventional schedules.We offer excellent prospects for career development and the chance to learn unique skills in an interesting and dynamic area of nursing, as well as the opportunity to actively participate in quality initiatives to continually improve the service we provide, join us and you could soon be directly influencing the patient experience.
