An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our well established team on our cardiothoracic surgery Ward 3. We provide an extensive range of district general hospital services to the local population of central Manchester and tertiary and specialist services to patients from across the North West and beyond.We are a 28 bedded Cardiac surgery ward where you’ll specialise in the care of our patient’s pre and post advanced cardiac surgery.You will gain the unique opportunity to develop your clinical skills and knowledge of caring for people with cardiac history and adult congenital heart disease. You’ll learn how to care for patients undergoing surgery pre and post-operative. You will be involved in their recovery and their overall patient experience. To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. Along the way, you’ll be supported by our Educational Practitioner, strong nurse leaders and a dedicated team, who will equip you with the support and guidance you need to nurse with pride, respect, empathy, consideration, compassion and dignity.
