Specification Sales Manager - WaterproofingPurpose of the Role of Specification Sales Manager - Waterproofing:Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable technical support team you will have responsibility for growing sales of waterproofing membranes and chemicals for mainly new build construction projects within the infrastructure sector, commercial, publicand multi-storey residential buildings sector. You will be tasked with winning specifications with structural engineers, civil engineers, architects and following the specification through to main contractors and specialist waterproofing and concrete framecontractors to protect the specification. Your territory will cover north west England, north Wales and YorkshireResponsibilities of the Role of Specification Sales Manager - Waterproofing:
  • Build relationships with a variety of specifiers such as civil engineers and architects
  • Build a pipeline of project specifications and write specifications
  • Convert specifications to orders by engaging at all levels with contractors and applicators
  • Deliver CPD presentations
  • Use Glenigans and internal leads to win specifications
  • Provide customer technical support
For the position of Specification Sales Manager - Waterproofing, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Must have experience of technical specification selling
  • Delivered CPD presentations to large groups of specifiers
  • Initiative and able to work independently
  • Tenacious, resilient and a desire to exceed targets
  • Must be well presented, ambitious, driven, enthusiastic, articulate and personable
  • Driving licence
