I am recruiting for an experienced Solutions Designer for a leading financial services organisation based in Manchester who are seeing significant growth for their popular flag-ship product.As part of the role, you will validate requirements and discuss with product and business owners and translate business requirements into technical requirements, identifying any gaps in end to end flowYou will participate in impact assessments for new work and review requirements to understand how both functional and non-functional aspects (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.) need to be met.As a Solutions Designer you will also add clarity to business requirements; challenges business requirements and demands to ensure high quality candidate solutions are createdYour main skills should include: * Designing for enterprise scale applications* Designing for transactional based, time critical systems* Designing for highly available/resilient systems* Micro service style component design* Integration of components with multiple technologies* Use of Jira and Confluence for documentation and task tracking* Proficient in: Java Code, Oracle PLSQLIdeally you will have strong commercial experience in the skills above, be enthusiastic and keen to always develop and learn new skills.
