Job Description

Banking |Solutions Architect | Varied Locations | Contract |Up to £750/day Inside IR35 | 12 month contractLEEDS / EDINBURGH / HALIFAX / BRISTOL / MANCHESTERSolutions Architect or Enterprise Architect (who knows a bit of Data) BUT NOT A Data Architect.Join our Data Resilience team on a new chapter within the Chief Data and Analytics OfficeYou will help to define and embed new Strategies, Operating Models and Control Frameworks to protect the Banks critical data services that our customers, colleagues and the market rely upon.Previous experience in Data Resilience would be highly desirable.If you have a background in Financial Services within Banking, Insurance, Asset Management wed love to hear from you!Essential Requirements;

  • Experience in batches, messaging queues, third party data connections, encryption, data recovery & backup, data vaulting, data integrity and cloud technologies is essential.
  • Experience in understanding payments, cards, pensions, insurance, markets, trade & settlement, logon customer journeys.
  • Technical knowledge of FCA, PRA, EBA guidelines on operational resilience.
  • Experience in managing risks and controls.
  • Strong enterprise technical architecture background to identify data resiliency issues on middleware components
Desirable Requirements:
  • Previous experience in setting up a Data Pillar (or other Pillars) from scratch.
  • Experience in managing data in clouds and thought leadership on forward looking technologies like data vaulting, data twins, data operability across AWS/GCP.
  • Strong experience in Disaster Recovery, back-up and restore, cyber threats and monitoring, data encryption domains.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and data privacy qualification
