Job Description

A well-established , full service, Top 45 Law Practice with a National presence is seeking to bolster its already successful team within their Catastrophic / Large Loss division through the recruitment of a Solicitor with 4 years PQE plusThe firm is renowned for its commercially minded, entrepreneurial approach and significant growth has been enjoyed over recent years.If you are career minded and enjoy operating in a fast-moving environment - this is a genuinely exciting opportunity where you will be rewarded very quickly.The Opportunity:This is a chance for a Solicitor to join a market leading Team based in Manchester(although office location isnt an issue) The successful candidate with manage own caseload of predominately fast track claims. You will be responsible for the running of theday to day of your cases including liaising with clients, opponents, court, witnesses and undertaking your own liability investigationsMain Responsibilities include but not limited too;

  • Predominantly PI including EL, PL and Highways
  • Housing disrepair
  • Property damage
  • Complete MI procedures as and when required
  • Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
  • Ensure relevant deadlines, quality measures and KPIs are adhered to
  • Comply with relevant policies and procedures
  • You may also be required to carry out tasks that fall within the wider remit of the role
In this role, you will be immersed and valued quickly. Whilst managing your own caseload you will also be given scope to drive new business activity. Your ability to build trusting relationships with your clients and gain an appreciation of their challengeswill offer you the grounds to creatively provide solutions.Whats needed to be considered
  • Previous experience at managing defendant EL/PL fraud claims is preferable
  • Ideally 2YRS PQE
  • Genuine interest in fraud
  • Working knowledge of PL, EL and Highways Law
  • Experience of handling own casualty caseload
  • Good influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
