Solar Design Engineer- Manchester Office (2 days a week)/ Remote- Up to £50,000Solar Designer is sought by a growing turnkey project developer. Theyre doing work different in the solar sector; working with people that are quality driven and passionate about their work. Its proved to work, as they have grown the pipeline significantly,and are set to deliver 25 sites for one client alone within the next 18 months. They support a variety of clients across the commercial and industrial sector. What youll be doing:*Youll be a key player in their technical work, working across all of their pipeline of projects. This is mainly for solar projects, but theyre expanding into BESS and co-located sites. *Completing key designs for these projects, using a variety of tools including Helioscope, PV Syst and AutoCAD. *Liaising with key stakeholders in the internal and external environment, namely being the board of directors, DNOS and the commercial customers.*Preparing key feasibility studies, designs, and reports for clients. *Completing full technical specifications, managing project budgets, and supporting the commercial team on the submission of technical documents.What we are looking for:Youll need to be quality driven and ready to get stuck into these projects. They have made their name in the industry through quality driven approach to their work, priding themselves on their reliability and performance. Youll also need to have worked onthese solar designs previously. They are looking to continually support your growth into this sector and so any experience with PV Syst and Helioscope designs, completed to a high quality will be essential. The design team is set to grow 3 times in the next 18 months to support the projects pipeline, so now is a great time to put your name on these projects.
