Job Description

Software implementation consultant with accounting experience and payroll systems familiarity to manage the implementation of interfaces between Payroll Soutions and General Ledger software. Client facing and hands on software configuration role for a leading provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. You will meet clients, design solutions, configure, test, train and deploy solutions. Must have hands on software implementation/ configuration/ testing experience and practical knowledge of accounting and payroll, Saas/ Cloud experience and SQL knowledge. XML ideal.Join a fast growing team providing cloud based solutions to large and medium enterprises. Established global company, building its recently created UK team and enjoying huge success. Home based in any UK location with travel to client sites and team meetings. £40k to £60k depending on experience plus 10% on target bonus. Excellent progression opportunities in this growing team.In this role you will:

  • carry out the implementation of General Ledger interfaced with Payroll and HR solutions
  • meet clients, define requirements for GL posting, configure the software and test
  • work collaboratively within a team implementing all aspects of HR, Payroll and Workforce Management solutions
  • engage with financial controllers, accountants and similar within client companies
  • consult with and advise clients
  • manage multiple projects concurrently working to project plans and deadlines
  • You must have:
  • software implementation, configuration and software testing experience with an accounting focus
  • practical knowledge of accounting and payroll
  • experience in a SaaS/ Cloud environment
  • demonstrable knowledge of SQL, XML, XSLT
  • good problem solving skills
  • strong client communication skills
  • willingness to travel to client sites
  • any experience with payroll modules within Workday, Ultimate, Lawson or ADP is a strong plus
  • You will work from home, attending client sites for meetings, with a mix of home based and client site work.
