Job Description

Software Engineer About Ki Reply: Ki Reply is the Reply Group company specialised in next generation software development lifecycle. Our mission is to build high quality business applications quickly and safely enabling organisations to keep pace with market and technology evolution using lowcode, no code and AI powered tools. Ki Reply provides a full range of services supporting clients to leverage the next generation software development lifecycle from platform architecture and selection, governance and controls, development on low code platformsto provision of citizen developers. Role overview: As a software engineer, you will work with other digital disciplines to understand user needs and what needs to be built, identifying, creating and applying software development and security standards and processes as required. There will be opportunities tomonitor changes in the technology on which our clients rely and alert them on any issues or trends affecting the software. You will adhere to the industrys best practices, produce well-engineered modern products and guide others in doing so. You will employsecurity controls to build secure products, and proactively engineering solutions to mitigate security threats. You will uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling information, working with others to ensure compliance and information assurance. Comejoin our team in Manchester. Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain software as required, including packaging and deploying software built in the live environment.
  • Write, amend, refactor and document code to build complex programs/components/scripts whilst applying agreed modelling techniques, standards, patterns and tools
  • Practice the agreed methodology and apply it to your work, identifying obvious deficiencies and supporting activities to improve the development process and choose the most appropriate from a variety of methods of prototyping, actively soliciting prototypesfrom others
  • Seek to learn and further develop your skills as required for your role through active participation in the Groups L&D activities
About you:
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree (2.1 or higher) is required in IT, Computer Science, or in a Technology-related field
  • Experience in JavaScript, C# and PL/SQL, Python
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and deliver initiatives and outcomes which are compelling, accurate, and engaging both clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in Machine Learning/Deep Learning
  • Fundamental Knowledge on AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Experience in Agile development - including understanding user needs, building proof of value Alphas, evolving end state solutions and managing in-life operations
