Job Description

Software Engineer (C#) - Remote - £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)Edward Reed are searching for mid level - senior Software Engineers on behalf of our client Juniper Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for pragmatic delivery of software solutions using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, React and Node.Juniper offer an award winning service to the education system providing effective solutions to suit a wide range of requirements, including: pupil tracking, financial management, teacher training, HR, governance, compliance and school visit planning. The company have taken the industry by storm since setting up 18 months ago, with over 10,000 schools now using their services internationally. Due to their huge growth since inception, they are now looking to expand their team further and take on like minded employees to join their exciting journey to continued success.The Role:

  • Work within software development teams focusing on pragmatic delivery of value-based solutions.
  • Work to a secure first mindset with every aspect of your work
  • Communicate clearly and be able to work with people from both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Help create innovative and lucrative systems to help benefit the education system internationally.
  • Participate and work with the team to deliver business requirements.
  • Support and mentor other team members
  • Deliver cloud hosted solutions.
  • Implement software solution testing though techniques such as BDD, TDD, Integration Testing and Unit Testing.
  • Implement software design patterns are implemented when appropriate.
  • Implement cloud software design patterns are implemented when required and appropriate.
  • Support the creation of backlogs.
  • Use Git as source control.
  • Demonstrate a continuous growth mindset.
    • Skills and Experience required:You much have at least 3 years’ experience implementing production systems with at least 3 of the following programming tools:
  • ASP.NET Core
  • ASP.NET Framework
  • React
  • Node
    • It would be beneficial if you have experience:
  • Implementing OAuth 2.0 + Open ID Connect UI driven and M2M based security flows
  • Delivering software solutions though CI/CD processes
  • Delivering Office 365 (Azure AD) and/or G-Suite integration into products via federation
  • Delivering Auth0 based security workflows
  • With hosting software in Azure (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS, SaaS)
  • With delivering Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • With hosting containerised software in AKS and/or Docker
  • Delivering software solutions in the EdTech space
