Job Description

Job Title: Mid-Level/Senior .NET DeveloperLocation: ManchesterStructure: HybridSalary: £35,000 - £55,000 (DOE)Our client is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join their dynamic team as they continue to expand their client base. Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will have at least four years of commercial experience in .NET andC# development. If successful, you will be involved in an exciting project both from the comfort of your own home and in their new office with friendly colleagues.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support assigned .NET solutions and projects.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and document .NET solutions and implement required client projects.
  • Recommend enhancements or new .NET-based technologies to the .NET team to improve efficiency and streamline operational processes for clients.
  • Mentor and advise junior .NET developers in the team.
  • Responsible for the self-management of work to ensure project delivery.
  • Assess and identify risks with assigned work and raise issues with the team leader/supervisor.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the firms and customers documentation and information.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • At least four years of commercial experience using .NET and C#.
  • Day-to-day experience of most of the below areas of .NET development.
    • C# programming
    • MVC web development
    • Familiar with SOAP/REST API
    • Blazor
    • Visual Studio
    • .NET Core
    • API integrations with third-party systems
    • Release build and deployment of solutions
    • GitHub code management and able to produce detailed system documentation.
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server including query
  • A background in Computers/IT experience is preferable to BSc/BA degree level.
Desirables:
  • Console app console development and deployment
  • WinForms development and deployment
  • Proclaim Case Management development
  • Experience with Agile development environment
