Job Description

As a software developer apprentice, you will be trained to be a professional software developer. This role is a fantastic opportunity to gain real-world experience and to learn the skills you will need to pursue a successful career.Your responsibilities as a Software Developer will include:

  • Enhancing your knowledge of programming languages and technologies, with an emphasis on databases and web technologies
  • Understanding, writing, and testing code
  • Applying secure development principles to specific software components at all stages of development
  • Following analysis models such as use cases and process models
  • Solving logical problems, seeking assistance when required (including appropriate mathematical application)
    • Interested The qualifications/skills you should have:
  • 5 GCSEs A-C (other relevant qualifications and experience; or an aptitude test with a focus on IT skills)
  • Ability to do mental arithmetic
