Job Description

An award-winning Medical Devices company in the Manchester area are looking for an experienced Software Developer to help them achieve their ambitious goals.The CompanyRenowned for discovering innovative new ways in making advancements to medicines of the future. They have one of the best benefit packages in the industry, they are passionate about the people they hire to help improve the efficiency and productivity of autonomous systems.Developer RoleYou will be joining an agile, fast-paced environment, working directly with the CTO and Head of Engineering on the overall platform architecture, alongside a team of five other fantastic developers.You’ll be working on large-scale, medical and enterprise-level software development projects using languages and technologies such as Java, Go, JavaScript, NodeJS, Scala, Redis, AWS, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Docker and Kubernetes.Essential Experience

  • Strong programming experience in either Go, Scala and/or Java
  • Bash, HTML, CSS
  • MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Neo4J
  • Docker & Kubernetes
  • JavaScript, NodeJS (nice to haves)
  • Experience of AWS and/or cloud-based environments will be helpful but not a deal-breaker.
  • The business values good knowledge of general computer science and as long as youre a curious and a passionate person, it is not a must to have all those technologies. In return, you will receive a salary between £50,000-£60,000, excellent training and ongoing career development.This position will be remote due to the Covid situation.
