Job Description

About Health Education EnglandHealth Education England is at the core of the NHS’s £5 billion investment into education and training across the NHS. The successful candidate will be a Full Stack Developer with a passion for personal development. They will be joining a multidisciplinary team, contributing their own experience and adding value whilst collaborating with others and potentially mentoring colleagues.About the RoleWe don’t expect you to know everything. The team is very happy to help with any areas you may have had little exposure to, but we do require a certain level of experience and the right underlying learning attitude.   • Java for our back-end services
  • Angular and React for our front-end applications
  • MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB
  • Elasticsearch
  • You should apply if:
  • You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • You are an experienced in ideally one or more of the following programming languages Java, Scala, JavaScript and MVW frameworks (we use Angular)
  • You have a good working knowledge of software design principles.
  • You have the ability to research and learn new programming tools and techniques.
  • You have an understanding of version control (we use Git).
  • You have experience working on, or with web technologies.
  • You have a strong knowledge of databases, web performance and web security
  • Agile experience in a development environment is not required, but an understanding of agile and ability to think agile is required.
