Job Description

Job Title: Skills Development CoachSalary: £22,000-27,000 per annumBased: LongsightWe are recruiting a Skills Development Coach to join our Employment team here at the Growth Company. Our Skills Development Coach will deliver a rigorous and effective learning & assessment strategy that enables positive and timely progression and achievement and meets Awarding Organisation standards and guidelines, Skills Solutions Policy, Procedure and wider quality frameworks. Ideally the successful candidate will be IQA qualified, however this is not essential.The GC is a not-for-profit, commercially driven organisation dedicated to economic development, inward investment, skills, employment and enterprise. We’re driven by our successes and leave a legacy of growth wherever we work and whoever we work with.Experience:

  • Experience of devising, planning implementing and evaluating assessment and learning strategies
  • Working within Internal Quality Assurance Policies and Procedure
  • Qualified Assessor (A1 or TAQA) or willingness to work toward a TAQA Level 3 qualification
  • Organisation and time management
  • Recording and record keeping
  • Strong IT skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding
  • Internal Quality Assurance and Observation of practice
  • Quality Standards i.e. Ofsted Common Inspection Framework, Matrix, (desirable)
  • Ability to support, motivate learner to progress and achieve, outcome and quality improvement focused, consistent and transparent in approach
