Job Description

Site Operations Technician required. Bennett and Game are currently representing a very well-established Electrical company that specialise Power Generation equipment in Manchester. The ideal candidate would come from either a Mechanical,Electrical or Landfill Gas background, and hold a full UK driving license. Experience working with pumps and motors, and any Mechanical and Electrical plant equipment would be advantageous.Site Operations Technician - Clayton Hall Position Overview

  • Responsible for the day to day operation of company equipment, such as Gas Fields, Glares and Generators
  • Take part in the 24-hour emergency call out to cover and respond to any equipment faults
  • Follow all H&S and Environmental policies in place at the company
  • Maintenance and repair of Mechanical and electrical equipment at the plant, including Pumps and Motors
  • Responsible for ordering spare parts when they run out of stock
  • To support other technicians in the field
  • Assist in the commissioning of Generator sets
  • To conduct any air emissions monitoring activities
Site Operations Technician - Clayton Hall Position Requirements
  • Experience with Pumps or Motors advantageous
  • Experience with Gas Generators advantageous
  • Experience in either Mechanical, Electrical or Landfill Gas
  • Able to work alone
  • Computer literate
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Gas Safe Certification advantageous
Site Operations Technician - Clayton Hall Position Remuneration
  • Salary - £29,977.40
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Company van with fuel card
  • All PPE and Tools
