Job Description

Signalling Installation ManagerLocation:North West, EnglandSalary: £60,00070,000 per annum (dependant on exp)My client is looking for an experienced Signalling Installation Manager to work on a number of projects in the North West. The ideal Installation Manager will require an in-depth knowledge of Signalling Installation & construction techniques.What are my responsibilities

  • Operates and promotes safe working on site
  • Drives and completes signalling Installation &construction programme/tasks to required quality standards
  • Identifies supervision requirements and takes necessary action
  • Establishes plant availability and suitability
  • Assesses installation staff and operatives performance and identifies potential
  • Assists in completion of documentation in accordance with management systems
  • Contributes to programme development and commercial implications
  • Manage and liaises with supervisors on Signalling installation/construction requirements
  • Liaises with other disciplines on the project making sure that there are no clashes and identify efficiencies
  • Implements company requirements on policy standards and legal regulations with specific attention to quality and environment
  • Ensure that all plant, materials, supervision and labour are utilised to the optimum value to the project,
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a role involving the management Signalling Installation
  • Applicable Signalling installation experience (essential)
  • Ability to manage and control all levels of staff (essential)
  • Strong communicator
  • Competence in understanding plant, materials and labour requirements to deliver signalling projects
  • Evidence of managing complex logistical works
  • Understanding of relevant legislation, standards for working in this environment
  • Valid PTS and relevant engineering competencies
  • Relevant IRSE licence and Construction of Site Safety competence (highly advantageous)
