Job Description

Sign Installer / FitterLocation: Manchester Salary: DOECompany: A well-established leading signage company.Role: Our client is currently looking for a sign installer to join their growing team in Manchester and surrounding areas.This position will play a key role in assisting with the development of the company. To ensure all signage is completed on time, and to an exceptional quality standard.A candidate located in and/or surrounding areas of Surrey will be considered - although projects will be based across the UK (heavily in London).

  • Installation of glass manifestation and digital wall coverings.
  • To ensure all signage is completed on time, and to an exceptional quality standard
  • Install all types of graphics and signage - internally and externally
  • Follow all company procedures for install of signage and graphics
  • Load and unload company vehicles, ensuring signs are well protected at all times
  • Take responsibility for your own and others health and safety when working
  • Provide efficient interaction with clients
  • Carry out site surveys and therefore need to be confident with this process
  • Be flexible with start and finish times to enable the company to deliver jobs effectively
  • Check and sign off works on job sheet & complete reports when required.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sign installation role
  • CSCS Card CSCS (Blue or Gold preferred but a CSCS is essential), IPAF, PASMA
  • SSTS, EFA trained, Harness pre-use & inspection, Asbestos etc.
  • Working knowledge of the signage industry
  • Various sign installation experience working in lots of materials (installing wallpapers, window graphics, large format prints, exhibitions & build, retail, shop-fit & signage, hoardings, museum graphics, lighting, and bespoke signs & graphics, LED & lighting)
  • Electrical experience and qualified ideally 17th or 18th edition.
  • Good at graphics application/wallpapering - desirable
  • Be flexible when it comes to working hours
  • You will need a technical mind and the ability to work with the lead sign fitter to achieve high quality installations
  • Self-motivated and driven
