Job Description

The Reporting Lead is responsible for the start-up and development of a reporting function to underpin the operations of the Shared Service Centre. You will have a background of working in a group OR a shared service centre, with experience of operationalperformance reporting.Client DetailsMichael Page are excited to be working with a global, best-in-class shared service centre based in Greater Manchester. Offering flexible working culture & market-leading benefits, this is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with a backgroundof working in a group function or a shared service centre.DescriptionThis unique Shared Service Centre Reporting Lead is responsible for the start-up and development of a reporting function which will underpin the operations of GSS UK and the Centre of Excellence.The role is accountable for the delivery of an increasing portfolio of reporting and analysis of both financial and operational performance within the Shared Service Centre.You will also oversee the transition of manual reporting into automated or PowerBI solutions to transition to production and BAU use.ProfileThe successful candidate for this unique & diverse Shared Service Centre Reporting Lead role will be:

  • Ideally a qualified Account (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) - this is a desirable not not an essential
  • More important than the financial qualification is a clear ability to demonstrate how to deliver commercial value, insight and waste elimination through the identification, design and development of metrics and reporting in analysing a dataset
  • Prior experience of analysing operational performance reports
  • Prior experience of working in a multisite group function OR in a shared service centre
  • Ability to be a diplomatic yet assertive business partner, able to drive for improvements whilst getting the team engaged
Job OfferThis unique & interesting role can offer a salary of £65,000 - £80,000 based on experience, as well as flexible working structures & a suite of other benefits.
