Job Description

Issue Resolution· Ensures that the team maintain a professional and courteous approach with clients at all times. Acts as escalation point for client issues.· Provides day to day management, guidance and support to the team and wider management team regarding client issues, queries, complaints and investigations.People Management Responsibilities· Ensure that the team is effectively resourced to manage and meet internal and external deadlines and SLAs· Ensure that all staff members in your direct line of reporting:-

  • adhere to the FCA conduct rules that apply to their regulatory status
  • meet Group culture and value expectations
  • have equal opportunities for training and development
  • receive regular feedback, quarterly 1-2-1 meeting and annual appraisals, setting objectives which are challenging and stretching
  • are fit and proper to carry out the remit of their role, dealing with personal or professional shortcomings in a timely manner
  • complete continued professional development and mandatory training within timescales set
  • receive only delegated tasks that they have the skills, knowledge and resource to complete
  • are the subject of effective oversight until delegated responsibilities and tasks are completed satisfactorily
RequirementsEssential Skills:
  • Strong man management experience
  • Hands on Settlements experience
  • Good numeric skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate inputting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with complex queries
  • Ability to prioritise & work to strict deadlines
  • PC literacy and internet skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Regulatory knowledge and development skills supporting CASS (Client Assets) in particular:
  • CASS 7 (Client Money Rules)
Beneficial Skills:
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Essential qualifications:
  • 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C or equivalent (must include Mathematics and English)
Beneficial Qualifications:
  • Completion or working towards an IOC (Investment Operations Certificate) qualification
