A rare chance for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading UK & European third party provider of aftermarket and service engineering support for packaging machinery used in the food industry.BASIC SALARY: up to £45,000BENEFITS:· Overtime to earn circa £10,000 · Choice of Car or VanLOCATION:Home based you will be covering the whole UK and can live anywhere in England although a central or north location would be preferredCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Peterborough, Nottingham, Milton KeynesJOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer - HFFS, VFFS, Head weighing machinery - Food IndustryThis is a classic Field Service Engineer role working on client sites to repair or refurbish (70%) and to install and commission new machinery (30%).Home based and working on client sites, you will be expected to travel and stay away for 1 to 2 nights per week with occasional trips to Europe and very occasional weekend work will be required.Overtime is paid door to door.PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer - HFFS, VFFS, Head weighing machinery - Food Industry· You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer AND have specific experience of working on packaging or process machinery used in the food industry · The company will consider an experienced food factory Maintenance Engineer with hands on experience of working on packaging or process machinery. · You MUST be a qualified Electrical &/or Electronic Engineer with hands on mechanical experience and the ability to fault find on PLC`s.THE COMPANY:A leading UK & European third party provider of aftermarket & service engineering support for packaging machinery (specifically HFFS, VFFS & Multi head weighing machinery) used in the food industry.
