Job Description

SEO ManagerHybrid WorkingUp to £35k On behalf of our growing client based in Stockport, we are recruiting for a talented SEO Manager. As SEO Manager, you will provide strategic planning and implementation for SEO and to support growth revenue and capability in the SEO team.The SEO Manager will be responsible for:

  • Support inthe management of Junior Staff
  • Support innew business research and pitch document production, followed by pitching to potential new clients
  • Help clients and the team understand the full value of SEO and the impact that it has.
  • Client account/people management
  • Monitoring and reporting for SEO clients with the support of the Head of SEO
  • Perform technical SEO audits and either implement the changes themselves or communicate effectively whats required to in-house developers or 3rd parties
  • Research keywords and effectively optimize
  • Devise SEO strategies to achieve ROI for clients
  • Be hands-onwith off-site SEO practices such as link building and blogger outreach
  • Working with the Head of SEO to develop and implement SEO strategies to reach client objectives
The SEO Manager will have the following:
  • Experience with WordPress CMS platforms
  • Proficient inGoogle Analytics (ideally youwill hold the Google Analytics qualification)
  • Be familiar with HTML and CSS
  • Backlink auditing
  • Penalty resolutioni.e., Google Panda and Penguin
  • Building a strong site architecture
  • Be familiar with tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs
  • Migrations of websites from old to new or to new domains
  • Proventrack record inworking with a variety of companies to increase their online presence
